Clash Royale Balance Changes
The latest Clash Royale balance changes include reductions to Charge, Jump
Cooldown, Max Range, Death Slow Effect, and Max Resurrected Skeletons. Skeletons
have lost a few of their benefits and are now more difficult to kill. Reflection Tower
Damage has also been lowered by 30% and Pushback has been decreased from 1.8
tiles to one tile. The amount of damage dealt by these changes has been adjusted
accordingly.
Skeleton King
The Skeleton King has undergone a few balance changes in Clash Royale since its
introduction. This new hero has increased damage by 14% and area of effect by
30%. In addition, it now has no knockback and is immune to damage from swarm
troops. However, it must spend more time enhancing his skeletons. This is
something players will find disappointing, since the Skeleton King has been a
popular character for quite some time now.
The latest updates to the game include nerfs for two popular champions: Archer
Queen and Skeleton King. Archer Queen was found to be too powerful and needed
nerfs to match her new abilities. Adding the cloaking cape increased her speed and
made her able to shoot arrows faster. Skeleton King’s cooldown was also changed
from 3.5 seconds to three seconds.
Tesla
A recent update to Clash Royale nerfed two popular heroes, the X-Bow. Both cards
have been nerfed to a lesser degree, but the changes to the Tesla were mostly
beneficial for the players. Its hit speed has been reduced to 0.8 seconds and its
lifetime decreased from 60 to 40 seconds. As a result, these heroes now have lower
hit speed and will likely be more difficult to control.
While the Tesla is an excellent distraction unit, it is best used to counter enemy
troops that target buildings. The best place to place the Tesla is in the middle of the
player’s Arena, three tiles from the bridge. This will make regular troops more
vulnerable to attacks. It should also be placed a tile or two behind another siege
building. The Tesla will attack any troops that are close to the Princess Towers but it
will not tank them.
Archer Queen
The new June 7 update in Clash Royale is now live, bringing with it a number of
balance changes for all your heroes. Among the changes are buffs for Archer Queen,
Golden Knight, and Skeleton King. These changes are meant to correct some
problems with the game, primarily the Archer Queen buff, which counteracts the
Hitpoints nerf. Another new buff for Archer Queen is Cursed Hogs, which allows her
to churn faster.
The Archer Queen has been found to be too powerful in the current meta and was
included in 60% of battle decks. These changes will reduce the archer’s bridge
spamming ability, but increase her cooldown and decrease her duration. The
changes are scheduled to take effect on November 4, 2021, after the game’s
maintenance break. However, they are not completely neutral. The changes make
the Archer Queen more competitive in the current meta.
Night Witch
The Night Witch has undergone some recent balance changes in Clash Royale,
bringing a number of new changes to the game. Earlier, her area damage radius was
reduced by 45%, and her attack speed was decreased to 0.6 seconds. After the
January 2019 Update, she was moved from the Training Camp to the Bone Pit Arena.
As a result, she is now less effective in battles with other heroes and minions. The
first attack of the Witch was also reduced to 0.7 seconds, and the Skeletons now
spawn at a rate of one second. She also has a new stance, which allows her to use
more of her abilities, and her range increased to 5.5 tiles.
Due to her recent nerf, the Night Witch is no longer considered a powerful
Legendary card. This is because she has been severely nerfed in previous balance
changes, and this new buff will make her more competitive in the meta. Besides, her
new stance will make her a more efficient healer than ever. However, this change
will make it harder for Night Witch to play in golem decks, which is exactly the
opposite of what she was meant to do.
